About Michael A. Iannucci

I am a partner and trial attorney in the Firm’s nationally recognized Litigation Department and, internally, serve as a co-practice group leader for the General Litigation group. I am also on the Firm’s Hiring Committee, and have co-chaired the Summer Program—which regularly ranks as the top program in Philadelphia and nationally among law students—numerous times. I represent businesses in complex and mission-critical disputes throughout the country. This includes: Trade Secret/Non-Compete/Non-Solicit. I am representing software, medical device, engineering, environmental, laboratory testing, mortgage and financial services, insurance adjusting and biopharmaceutical companies in misappropriation of trade secret litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country. Consumer Class Actions. I represent some of the largest companies in the U.S. defending “bet-the-brand” consumer class actions. This has included appearing before both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Supreme Courts on behalf of nationally known restaurant and home protection companies, respectfully. As a result of these successful representations, I was recognized as a National Rising Star by Law360 for Class Action work (one of only five). Breach of Contract/Business Disputes. I also represent numerous publicly-traded (US, UK and Indian exchanges), private equity, private and start-up companies both as outside general counsel as well as trial counsel, when needed. These representations include breach of contract, commercial lease disputes, business divorce (of LLCs and/or partnerships), unfair trade practices, unfair competition, and any other business or brand threat. Risk Mitigation. In addition to my trial practice, I spend significant time strategizing with clients on preventative measures, compliance and best practices to reduce risk and avoid, when possible, litigation. I regularly publish articles and speak at conferences about federal court litigation and national class action trends. Honors/Recognitions. In addition to being named a Law360 Rising Star, I was also recognized as a \"Lawyer on the Fast Track\" by the Legal Intelligencer (36 attorneys under the age of 40 in Pennsylvania)(2014) and repeatedly recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer-Rising Star in Business Litigation. Prior to Blank Rome. I served as a federal law clerk and interned for former New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Faustino J. Fernandez-Vina. At Rutgers Law, I was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Religion and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
