Engineering leader with 20+ years of experience building full stack applications and APIs in the cloud. Proven track record scaling Amazon’s programmatic advertising platform, increasing public API revenue to $20M and client base 20x in 2024. Passionate about developer experience and technical scalability. I read a lot of history books, particularly biographies of presidents and military leaders. One thing that has influenced me is that many of the most successful people in history play the long game, and suffer more than people think, to break through and achieve their goals. Some of my favorites include Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and General Douglas MacArthur. These leaders suffered diseases of various sorts, death of loved ones at early ages, flagging motivation of their followers, lost elections, and boisterous opposition to name a few. They persevere and maintain an unflagging belief in the goodness of their goals. I find that inspiring.
