As a School Adjustment Counselor, I offer comprehensive clinical and social-emotional support to students, providing individual services, guidance counselor consultations, referrals, and mediation to promote student well-being. Lead crisis intervention strategies, ensuring student safety, and coordinating necessary evaluations, referrals, and follow-up communication with families and providers.Managed and coordinated referrals, collaborating with external provider groups and overseeing scheduling and resource allocation to ensure students receive appropriate care. Serving as a liaison with outside agencies and partners, I facilitate communication and compliance with procedures to support students\' success.Chair of the Student Success Team, I lead meetings, develop agendas, and drive initiatives to address student needs. Lead the Mental Health Team, fostering the development and implementation of action plans, analyzing data, and ensuring staff professional development in mental health and social-emotional learning (SEL).Oversee school-wide surveys and initiatives, such as YRBS, Panorama, and Beacon alerts, and manage the Student Drop-In Center to enhance student engagement. Chair the Greater Fall River School Community Partnership, strengthening networking and organizing community initiatives.Providing professional development for staff on equity, mental health, and SEL, I have developed the Diman Family Direction initiative, enhancing communication and fostering family involvement through forums on relevant topics. Managed the Aspire Program to support students transitioning back to school after extended absences, while contributing to grant writing for mental health and SEL programs.
