About Michael Albert
Michael Albert served as co-chair of the firm\'s Litigation Group for 15 years. His practice focuses on patent litigation, as well as trade secret, trademark, copyright, Internet and other intellectual property litigation and consulting. He has trial experience before federal and state courts across the U.S. and has prevailed in appellate practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the First and Federal Circuits and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. He has also served as an arbitrator for over 200 cases through World Intellectual Property Organization and the National Arbitration Forum.Michael\'s clients include high-tech companies in the software, internet, biotechnology and engineering industries, as well as Fortune 500 retail businesses and leading research universities. Michael has litigated IP cases successfully against some of the largest law firms and corporations in the world, winning injunctive and monetary relief for a range of clients as well as defending clients successfully against bet-the-company IP claims. While at Harvard Law School, Michael served as a research assistant to Professor Laurence Tribe on constitutional and telecommunications law. He also served as a law clerk for Judge Leonard I.
