About Michaela Whitener

Michaela Whitener is the Director of Financial Compliance and Chief of Staff to the Chief Accounting Officer at Poly. She is responsible for defining an efficient and effective system of internal controls over Financial Reporting as well as ensuring that Poly abides by regulatory requirements. She is passionate about process improvement driving high quality results while reducing inefficiency and cost while offering leadership and development across organizations. Adoption of Technology and automation is a key pillar of her approach to both a high quality control environment. Additionally, Michaela supports the Controllership and broader CFO organization with cross functional program management and Finance Operations. Prior to this role, Michaela has held various roles in Accounting, Finance, Audit, and Operations across a range of industries including manufacturing, retail, payment processing, and durable medical equipment.Michaela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a concentration in Business Communications. She is a Bay Area native and currently resides in Santa Cruz. Michaela speaks English and enjoys playing golf, volleyball, and swimming in her spare time.
