Serve as strategic HR partner to leadership and site management teams across California and Western U.S. operations, supporting 300+ employees in union and non-union environments. Partner with GMs and Office Managers to guide the full employee lifecycle from employee relations and performance management to offboarding with a strong focus on compliance, engagement, and culture.Lead complex investigations and coach leaders on fair, consistent decision-making that builds trust and mitigates risk. Drive compliance with multi-state labor laws, specializing in California regulations such as SB 533 (Workplace Violence Prevention), ADA/FEHA, CFRA/FMLA, Pay Transparency, and Wage & Hour standards.Oversee Leave of Absence (LOA) and ADA accommodation processes, ensuring accuracy and timely communication. Build and implement standardized HR templates, trackers, and workflows to streamline operations and strengthen documentation consistency.Partner cross-functionally with payroll, benefits, safety, and legal teams to align policies, support CBA compliance, and guide organizational change. Lead annual review and merit cycles, providing analytics and manager coaching to drive equitable pay and development outcomes.Leverage HRIS and digital tools including Dayforce, HireRight, and Go1 to manage employee data, ensure compliance, enhance onboarding, and support ongoing learning. Champion employee engagement through proactive communication, accountability, and operational excellence across all sites.
