About Michaela Rosenmayer
I currently work at UiPath in the Academic Alliance with the purpose of first exposing students to RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and then further including it in their college curriculum. UiPath robots can do tedious tasks while you get the chance to focus on more creative aspects of your job. I received my Masters degree at SUNY Albany in Atmospheric Science under Dr. John Molinari. My masters thesis analyzed the statistical differences with Python of G-IV aircraft turbulence measurements in tropical cyclones compared to several atmospheric variables in the Atlantic Ocean from 19••••15. Prior to this, I went to Texas A&M University where I received my bachelor of science degree in atmospheric sciences. While at A&M, I first researched with Dr. Courtney Schumacher evaluating rain rates differences with IDL using radar data. I then worked with Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon to correct and analyze data to study the urban heat island of San Antonio, Texas using Microsoft Excel. Also during this time, I had the opportunity to intern at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico with Dr. Mike Sulzer.
