As Director of Marketing and Partnerships at USA Water Polo, I lead the strategic vision and execution of national marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and corporate partnerships that elevate the sport of water polo and drive sustainable revenue growth for the organization.My work spans across high-impact event marketing (Junior Olympics, Hall of Fame, Try Water Polo Day, Masters Nationals, Olympics), national team storytelling (e.g, Path to Paris, Women of the Water docuseries), and sponsorship development with brands like U.S. Navy, Malmsten, Mikasa, Delfina and Tenet Health. I manage licensing rights, brand protection, and IP compliance ensuring all commercial partnerships align with USAWP’s mission, values, and visual identity.I negotiate and renew multi-year agreements that deliver significant ROI and incremental growth across cash, VIK, and royalty streams. These include overseeing apparel RFPs, branded gear programs, and vendor merchandising contracts.
