I lead on ethical evaluations of AI systems and AI assurance in general, ensuring metrics are meaningful, grounded in real-world context and aligned with the latest standards. Through my work, I aim to enable systems that effectively augment human processes and deliver social benefits, while preventing the perpetuation of existing social disparities.With a background in psychology and data science, I bring a unique socio-technical perspective to AI ethics, assurance, and human-machine teaming. By integrating insights from human behaviour, cognition, and ethics with data science expertise, I help organisations address the complex interplay between people and systems.I frequently serve on expert panels and advise on AI policy, ethics, and assurance, contributing to UK and international efforts to shape the future of trustworthy AI.
