Michael Zweiback is a seasoned trial lawyer with deep experience in white collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation, and government investigations. He represents high profile clients in matters in state and federal courts nationwide, as well as international forums.A former big law practice group leader who also founded a highly successful trial boutique, his broad experience encompasses diverse areas including health care, financial services, antitrust, environmental, public and international corruption (including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), securities fraud, and tax. Michael also advises corporations of all sizes on cybersecurity and privacy issues.Michael formerly served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney and was Chief of the Cyber & Intellectual Property Crimes Section in the Central District of California (Los Angeles) where he investigated and prosecuted computer intrusions and the theft of intellectual property. He also previously served as the Deputy Chief of the Terrorism & Organized Crime section where he supervised and prosecuted transnational organized crime and national security matters. Michael served on the Attorney General’s advisory committee on Cyber Crime before departing for the private sector.
