Cradles to Crayons (C2C) was founded in 2002, with the mission of providing children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play. C2C is at the cutting edge of volunteer management, and through its “Giving Factory” provides unique, hands-on opportunities for people to help other people. Headquartered in Boston, MA, C2C opened in Philadelphia in 2007 and in Chicago in 2016. The role of the Director of Technology & Business Intelligence is part project manager, part business analyst and part administrator. My primary function is to design, expand and maintain/trouble-shoot the organization’s IT structure and processes, while at the same time influence, maintain and implement the Salesforce.com roadmap. I work closely with senior leadership and functional managers to manage the strategy, maintenance and oversight of office technology, database administration, equipment and systems and implementation of business processes within IT and Salesforce.com. I will also be responsible for leading and executing an organizational program/business model review that focuses on gathering and leveraging information to drive our program operations forward through a strategic review and recommendations related to the program scope and model.
