About Michael Weaver

My journey began in 1995, opening a hemp shop in Ocean City, Maryland. Recognizing the potential of cannabis-related products, I transitioned into the edible market in with cannabis-infused lollipops. I launched several brands during this time, including Chronic Candies, Weed World Candy, Amsterdam Candy, and Hydropops, among others. This early experience provided a strong foundation in understanding the plant.In 2012, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with ALS. Faced with this devastating diagnosis, I wasn\'t willing to accept without a fight. In 2013, I embarked on a research journey into the potential of cannabis oil to manage my condition. This involved extensive research into the various cannabinoids found in cannabis and their potential therapeutic benefits.Now, I\'m in my thirteenth year living with ALS, remarkably, still functioning at a level that defies expectations. This speaks to the potential of cannabinoid therapy to delay the onset and progression of ALS symptoms.Cannabinoids possess a range of powerful properties that may be beneficial in managing ALS. They exhibit anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, protecting cells from damage. They also function as antibacterial and antifungal agents, further supporting overall health. Crucially, cannabinoids appear to act as neuroprotectants, safeguarding nerve cells from degeneration, a key factor in ALS progression.Through my personal research and experience, I\'ve gained a deep understanding of cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Building on this knowledge, I began treating other ALS patients, witnessing significant success in managing their symptoms and improving their quality of life. From this, I developed a personalized treatment system that utilizes a combination of cannabinoids in specific proportions, carefully tailored to target the unique symptoms experienced by each individual.While much of my knowledge has been self-taught through experience, I also sought formal education and graduated from Cannabis Training University to enhance my expertise. In 2015, driven by the desire to help others, I founded Canna-Pharms. The mission of Canna-Pharms is to provide cannabinoid-based therapies to individuals suffering from ALS and other devastating illnesses, offering hope and improved quality of life.Thank you for taking the time to understand my journey.
