About Michael Watson
My professional experience encompasses method development and validation through experimentation to solve biological problems and develop novel instrumentation / techniques. My doctoral (and post-doctoral work) focused on applying and combining techniques of digital (surface-based) and channel microfluidics to develop new methods for protein processing, fluorophore labeling and hormone extraction. Currently working with Fluidigm I\'m applying cutting-edge microfluidic technologies to analyze complex biological systems. As an industrial researcher I have experience in leading groups of individuals with vastly different skill-sets to facilitate effective communication and problem solving.
