ABOUT MICHAEL WASSER

My name is Mike. I’m an Engineering Manager with more than 8 years of experience in Software Development primarily in Fintech, E-commerce, and Streaming with a focus on development teams management. Strong expertise in leading a full technical project cycle, including task prioritization, development, documentation workflow, project budgeting, and management of cross-functional engineering teams; obtain high organization & communication skillsStarted from the Samsung IT School courses in 2015. Was an Android Developer at several companies, such as the Biggest CIS Streaming service ivi.ru which offers a wide variety of content, and an Android Team Lead at the Biggest CIS Telecommunication company MTS.Right now I’m working as a Head of Mobile at AGIMA. We are creating worldwide products. I’m responsible for the processes, people management, delivery management, and technical excellence (including hands-on coding in architecture, CI/CD, complex features, etc.) in the Mobile department. I have built this department from scratch, right now we have 16 developers in iOS, Android, and Flutter. Before AGIMA I was a co-founder of a startup where we made an app with analytics on US and UK financial markets. My key responsibilities were fostering a great engineering culture, hiring new people, leading the whole team and driving the product to the new levels.Talking about some co-professional activity, right now I\'m an Education Mentor at Yandex.Practicum.
