    Perform duties of an Equipment Specialist for the E-2 Hawkeye integrated weapons support team (IWST), supporting the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). We hold daily conversations and trainings via telephone and TEAMs. Since becoming an Equipment Specialist at NAVSUP I have completed and processed hundreds of Design Change Notices (DCN\'s), Justification and Authorizations (J & As), PR checklists, subsequent ITIMP referrals, TDPs and SM & R code/ COG changes. Familiar with the file maintenance tool (FMT). N0, 00, ER actions and general overall file maintenance. Adding new sources and part numbers, applications and family maintenance. Familiar with the electronic cataloging processes, navigating WebFlis and using DLA H6 website to select appropriate federal supply class (FSC) and item name codes (INC). Attended multiple maintenance planning and provisioning conferences to establish new systems on the E2D platform. Evaluation of Maintenance Plans (MP) or Logistics Management Information (LMI) data (e.g, SM & R codes, failure data, and, scheduled & unscheduled inspection tasks). Provide technical information and insight to E2 inventory managers (IMs) ensuring procurement requirements are met within federal acquisition regulations (FAR) guidelines. Familiar with justification and authorizations (J&A) processes, market research forms and source verification requests (SVR). Familiar with PR checklist processes, which include screening ITIMP for appropriate sources, AMC/RMC codes, technical data packages and other processes, which are included. Familiar with SM & R code & COG change processes, and getting these added/changed in not only our Navy records but in public records as well. Performed market research on sourcing new parts.
