ABOUT MICHAEL WAKEHAM

Mike is a Management Applications Consultant in Capgemini and works as the AMS Technical Lead and as an Oracle Technical Delivery Manager for Application Management Services. Mike is currently involved in Oracle Cloud implementations, across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS and helps the Capgemini teams support their clients throughout the build and run cycles. Mike’s knowledge helps client understand the fundamental changes that moving to cloud makes to the operating model and to the support model. Mike has extremely good knowledge of Cloud architecture across the different platforms (VMWare, Azure, Oracle and AWS). Mike has worked in the Cloud area for over 10 years helping develop internal and external cloud services. Mike helped develop Capgemini’s ADMNext Oracle Support Cloud model and has been involved in onboarding of new and existing clients into Capgemini using Oracle Cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS. Mike also has over 30 years’ functional experience in supporting Oracle Products, across Procurement, Finance and other modules. Mike is quickly able to get an understanding of business and user requirements and he always ensures that users get the most out of the application (functionally) and provides guidance on aspects of the Oracle Applications. Mike has a lot of experience of Cloud licensing models and working with Oracle and other vendors to help clients with maximising their use of the platform. Mike also has knowledge in other software applications and has excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. Mike is a supporter of Capgemini Graduate and Apprenticeship scheme and has helped Capgemini recruit young talent into the Capgemini Application Management Services for over 10 years.
