I manage all aspects of fire protection and life safety for Parkland Health and Hospital System. I help to Insure compliance with local, state and federal fire and life safety codes and standards. I most commonly work with the City of Dallas, The Joint Commission and the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services accreditation. My regular activities include management of the buildings above ceiling permit and penetration document system. Managing multiple fire protection and life safety contractors whom conduct work for Parkland. I oversee all aspects of compliance documentation as required by The Joint Commission and CMS. I conduct scheduled and unscheduled building life safety inspections at all Parkland owned or leased properties throughout Dallas County. I conduct all post fire investigations for Parkland and prepare reports required for state submission.
