Michael (“Mike”) Vignone is a partner at Croke Fairchild Duarte & Beres. His practice primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, start-up and venture capital transactions. He represents clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including business services, financial services / asset management, healthcare, life sciences and technology. Mike has significant experience in advising institutional investors, portfolio companies, entrepreneurs, founder-led and strategic clients in structuring, negotiating, and closing complex business deals. He also represents executive and management teams in sale transactions.In addition to his transactional work, Mike regularly counsels clients on early-stage planning and start-up formation, corporate governance and other general corporate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Mike practiced in the Boston office of Goodwin Procter LLP where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, early stage and growth equity investments and other strategic transactions and served as outside counsel to a variety of portfolio companies, startups and strategic clients. Mike has advised on transactions ranging in size from less than $1 million up to $5 billion.Mike began his corporate legal career as an associate in the Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital matters and general corporate matters in a broad range of industries.
