I am helping to build a business from the ground up. I have developed business plans and strategies to create a network of biorefineries utilizing breakthrough REACH technology to create jet fuel and fine chemicals from low value/non food cellulosic material. It is still in the start-up phase but is very close to getting funding in a series A round to move toward a pilot project.Most recently, I helped Mercurius Biorefining get awarded a financial assistance grant from the DOE of up to $4.6 million to build and operate an innovative pilot plant to produce jet fuel to help the DOD meet its goal of fuel independence by 2020.
