About Michael Sullivant

I became a church-planter, pastor, educator, speaker beginning in my college days at Miami University. I retired with honor from a 20-year pastorate in Kansas City in 2007. Since then, along with a lot of ongoing ministry-related activity, through our non-profit Radius, I took on some marketplace assignments working as the first Account Manager for award winning Rhythm Engineering, the Director of Business Development for Strategic Internet Solutions and a consultant for both PlanLED and ECSFinancials. As of August 2018, I accepted the job of being the CEO of a non-profit company called Life Model Works. It is a 40+ year old organization that has had various phases of expression through the decades. In 2020, I shifted my role over to be the Director of Relational Networks for our group. It is the organization that is home to Dr. James Wilder who is a neurotheologian and the author of many amazing books. He is the chief theoretician of our group. Since we know that we have a responsibility to engage in our own maturation process, now that we have more profound insights into how our divided brains and nervous systems work, should we not train and grow our minds and hearts in the ways that they learn best? We have a global and multi-generational vision and mission and hold great hope for the transformation of whole cultures. In 2014, I co-founded with my wife, Terri Sullivant, an unconventional network of Jesus-followers called New Hope Community. I consider my greatest accomplishment in life to be the happy husband of Terri since 1977 and the father of 5 amazing adult children. We also have a growing number of grandkids! I love God and people.I\'m a philosopher at heart, a writer of practical theology and a spiritual director to quite a few people. In the last few years, I have sought to apply what I have learned as a church leader and Christ-follower since the early 70\'s to my work in the marketplace. Specialties: Making the complex simple without being simplistic; listening to others; imparting hope and joy; offering counsel; cognition/intuition blend; writing; public speaking; providing practical solutions; championing elegant breakthrough technologies.
