ABOUT MICHAEL STEVENS
As an engineer passionate about sustainability and analytics, I’ve pursued designing and managing infrastructure that serves people while respecting limited natural resources. Currently, I lead the asset management program at an Air Force base, where I apply data-driven strategies to optimize infrastructure life cycles under constrained public funding.My foundation is in civil and environmental engineering, and my academic work has included applying machine learning techniques to forecast groundwater levels—an intersection of environmental science and advanced analytics that sparked my love for solving complex problems with data.Looking ahead, I’m eager to pivot into the business side of engineering, where I can combine technical insight with strategic leadership and data-driven problem-solving. I’ve had the privilege of both leading teams from the front and pushing forward from the back, so I understand that strong leadership makes all the difference.
