About Michael Stevens
Proficient with HP UFT and Quality Center; Visual Basic.NET; Visual C#.NET; JIRA; TeamTrack by Serena; Microsoft SharePoint; Microsoft Office including programming macros; Microsoft Windows XP; Microsoft Windows Server 2008; Apple OS X administration, Java. I maintain a birds-eye view of a project as it flows through the development cycle. While I have extensive experience in Quality Assurance, I am most interested in development with an eye on quality. It all starts with good, detailed, well documented requirements. From there a design for development and the unit tests that that development will require for TDD and a separate design for quality testing are created. Tests naturally evolve from test scenarios designed to satisfy the requirements with the details of the code in mind. A minimum viable product is the goal for a demo stakeholders, feedback and possible changes or approvals of work done and a go to move forward with fourth er development. Agile is the name of the game and I’m a huge fan. I enjoy studying design patterns in off hours. I\'m a learner so Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, and PacktPub.com are my best friends for learning new technologies, refreshing myself on older ones I haven’t used in a while and keeping up with Tech that moves at the speed of light. Always working on a course there. Php, Ruby and iOS development are on my to-do list.NET is my first and true love.
