Currently serve as a Project Manager for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) within the Office of the Secretary (OST) of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). In this role I serve as a technical advisor and IT Specialist (Project Manager/System Analysis) responsible for managing the application development for digital services and digital transformation projects to support the IT modernization initiatives within DOT.I am responsible for the full range of system application development for various areas throughout the DOT and its Operating Administrations (OA). I Plan, direct, and coordinate the requirements analysis, design, programming, testing, and implementation of IT applications and tools of information systems in support of Departmental and OA information systems including interfaces between local and state Systems to improve Federal and Departmental digital services. In addition to the aforementioned activities, I perform business process re-engineering and information requirements reviews with modal and external business partners to establish, streamline, and document business processes that are to be supported by information systems. I also evaluates Commercial-Off -The-Shelf (COTS) software and makes recommendations for software selections. Once selected, plans, coordinates, implements, and maintains Commercial-Off-The­ Shelf software that support Agency functions.
