ABOUT MICHAEL STAFFELDT
I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of technology, talent, and creative production.I began in tech, where I led and supported technical recruiting and talent initiatives in fast-growing, high-expectation environments. In 2022, I made a deliberate shift to work directly under renowned film composer Tom Holkenborg, supporting large-scale film scoring and production projects. The role offered deep, hands-on exposure to creative operations at scale, tight production timelines, and collaboration with highly specialized creative and technical teams.Over two years, I developed a sharper understanding of how elite teams operate under pressure — how trust is built, how workflows break, and how the right people make an outsized difference. In 2025, following an industry-wide contraction and a pullback in project volume, the role was eliminated.I’m now focused on returning to long-term, scalable roles where I can apply my background in technical recruiting, operations, and creative production to build strong teams and durable systems. I bring a rare combination of recruiting rigor, creative fluency, and calm execution — particularly in environments where the work is complex and the bar is high.I’m especially interested in roles spanning technical recruiting, talent strategy, creative-technical teams, and high-growth organizations where craft and execution matter.
