My unique blend of being a CPA and implementer of technology gives me a distinct vantage point.As the CFO at The Bruce Company, I collaborated with the executive team to create and implement a vision for the organization to position it for generational transformation. Furthermore, my leadership and skills in a manufacturing company saved the business from closing its doors, and I saved 185 manufacturing jobs by achieving positive cash flow in less than six months. I am a product of a blue collar family. The scope of my life experiences have helped me to better relate to the needs of stakeholders at all levels in an organization. I know that making the time and taking the opportunity to do things, with and for people, makes all the difference— like when I walked the shop floor with the general manager to learn and better understand what could make an impact to operations. Some of my deepest roots are founded in a handshake— do what you say you will do. One of the biggest contributors to my success has been working with and for great mentors. As a life-long learner, I feel it is important to develop into one of those mentors and to give back by doing the same for others.
