My practice includes complex cross-border matters across the private funds market. I am dual-qualified as a German lawyer and as a solicitor of England and Wales. My clients range from first-time fund managers to global investment firms and investment advisers. I advise across the fund lifecycle on global distribution strategies, regulatory compliance and reporting. Key regulatory frameworks include AIFMD, as implemented in the EEA and onshored in the UK, MiFID, and UK FCA rules. I also advise on the regulatory aspects of M&A transactions, including due diligence, MiFIDPRU consolidation and change of control processes.
