About Michael Silva
Born and raised in Bridgeport, I am currently a Junior at the University of New Haven. Studying Criminal Justice, I am hoping to enter the field of Law at a federal level in order to give my back to community. In my studies, I hold a concentration on Investigative Services and a minor in National Security. As of now, I am seeking out internships and further opportunity to both learn and grow in the field of Law.In the past, I have worked heavily in freelance media through photography, graphic design and social media management services. I have been able to work with countless schools such as Bullard Havens, Kolbe Cathedral and Notre Dame - Fairfield. Whether it was working alongside an established school or just a start up brand, I have learned the skills needed to both promote myself and push myself further into the next step of my career in all forms of communication and versatility.

Lead of content creation and social media relations representing the Lambda Epsilon chapter of Sigma Chi. As one of the top rated chapters within the nation, my work has allowed me to work alongside the Recruitment Chair and Executive Committee as one of the main voices for the campus community- Oversee and manage all chapter marketing through social media as a means of promoting both our fundraising and business efforts on campus- Lead all design efforts through both graphics and video production to build up our brand image. This creative work has allowed the opportunity to work directly alongside our sister sororities as well as other organizations on campus- Provide our brothers with posts that highlight their gifts and talents to the New Haven community through posts such as our “Internship Spotlights”- Accrued a page traffic of viewers in August 2025 alone, showing consistent and steady growth from this same time last year.
