ABOUT MICHAEL SHEA

Seasoned printing and publishing executive with 20 years of pioneering ventures in digital print and content management.· As founder of Highcrest Media, spearheaded the development of a breakthrough software solution that has brought customized versions of academic textbooks to thousands of campuses and millions of students throughout the United States and beyond.· As Vice President of Courier Corporation, has helped lead the company to North American market leadership in the manufacture of custom textbooks and integrated learning products combining print with online and mobile components.· Has repeatedly demonstrated the vision and drive to capture high-growth opportunities in a rapidly changing printing industry, from early successes in print-on-demand to the current move to comprehensive publishing solutions spanning the entire spectrum from content development to physical and digital production, distribution and inventory management.· Has also lent his talents to Boston-area charitable organizations, including serving as a director of the Somerville Coalition for the Homeless and competing seven Boston Marathons on behalf of the Children’s Cancer Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.
