I am a Managing Director in the New York office of EY. I have 25 years experience serving both privately held and publicly traded companies (including 18 months of \"​in house/corporate\"​ experience).Since joining EY in July 2005, my primary focus has been on U.S. GAAP and IFRS income tax accounting technical matters under ASC 740 (FAS109) and IAS 12. I advise and audit multinational clients in a wide array of industries including asset management, consumer products, digital publishing of mobile content/applications, energy/power companies, financial services, investment funds, life sciences, marketing/communications, media, medical device manufacturing, real estate (including REITs), and technology start-ups.I work on annual and interim income tax provision calculations and financial statement reporting/disclosures, uncertain tax positions (FIN 48), unremitted foreign earnings (APB 23), valuation allowance considerations, SOX 404 internal controls remediation, and tax process improvement.I have extensive experience using OneSource Tax Provision software including the Global Access module, and generally have sophisticated technology skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).I am a regular instructor at internal EY technical training and participate in the Firm\'s audit quality review program. I serve as a performance counselor to multiple staff through managers and offer informal coaching to engagement team members.Prior to joining EY in 2005, I worked at other \"Big 4\" Firms in their international tax consulting (inbound and outbound) and tax compliance practices.I am an attorney licensed to practice in the state of New York, having earned a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in accounting from Touro University (1995) and a Juris Doctor (law) from Fordham University School of Law (1998).
