ABOUT MICHAEL SEIGER
Michael Seiger is the Country Head and Managing Director of Wipro in Germany and Austria. Germany is the most important country for Wipro in the European Union. Wipro’s EU Headquarters are in Frankfurt. Wipro has a presence in 15+ locations including Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Berlin. Michael will strengthen Wipro’s presence through large transformational engagements with leading global companies in their respective verticals. Wipro will continue to have a strong focus on Energy & Natural Utilities, Manufacturing, Automotive, Banking & Insurance, Telecommunication and Retail. He will invest in specific local capabilities such as domain and technology experts, digital transformation architects and large program managers. Michael will also leverage the partnerships with global technology providers and invest in vertical solutions for the success of Wipro’s clients. Prior to joining Wipro, Michael was the Global Head of Application Management at Atos SE where he led the modernization of the service portfolio and oversaw the deal solution group of the Business & Platform Solution division. He fostered a vertical global pre-sales organization to maximize content re-use and industry expertise. He was instrumental in winning and delivering key new deals across Europe. He also held leadership roles with Accenture and the Bertelsmann Group. With over 25 years in the IT service industry, he has a successful track record in sales, service delivery and innovation, across many verticals and geographies. Michael enjoys working closely with customers and client teams to shape innovative and differentiating solutions. Michael holds a Diploma in Computer Science from Technical University of Munich. He is married and has one son and two daughters.
