Mr. Michael Schütz is a senior chemical engineer with special emphasis to thermal engineering and has more than 30 years of experience in the power generation business and especially in the new build and rehabilitation of plants. During his career he has gained profound experience with different types (lignite, hard coal) and sizes of large scale (ultra) supercritical power plants. He is well familiar with the planning, procurement, implementation, contracting and claim management trough to commissioning of the power plants and has managed interdisciplinary project teams on national and international projects. Now he and his Team supports RWE on the path to become a CO2-neutral energy supplier as Director of Engineering.
