Responsibilities include the following:• Filing of all relevant tax returns (Federal, State, Local, Property, etc.) for the Formica North America Region, which includes US, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rican operations. This includes working with outside advisors to ensure that tax returns are timely and accurately filed.• Work with the accounting department to ensure that tax transactions, reconciliations, and reporting are properly accounted for in the company’s financial statements.• Provide timely taxable income forecasts to Formica management as needed.• Work with global finance and tax groups and outside advisors to ensure that Formica related party transactions are within arms-length standards.• Monitor proposed tax legislation with a potential impact to Formica and overseas parent businesses.• Building relationships with Formica executive teams to ensure effective tax planning throughout the Formica organization.• Provided tax due diligence support where needed relating to Fletcher’s recent announcement to divest of its International businesses, including Formica. Also provided integrated support as needed under the Broadview ownership structure following the June 2019 acquisition by Broadview.
