About Michael Salenko

With iTEP, an English test can be your ally. We have shed the rigidity and imposition that for so long have been part of English testing. We welcome communication and conversation by picking up the phone when our partners (we call them the iTEP Family) call. We are inspired by the fact that iTEP is a step toward an education and greater satisfaction in life for many people around the world, and that it facilitates international communication and education. I am proud to have shaped this vision and honored to work with the hundreds of institutions and iTEP partners in dozens of countries around the world who share it.

Experience

1. Executive Director

   Itep International

   Apr 2010 — Present

   Led English assessment company into profitability, expanding from 50 partner schools to more than 650, and 7 distributors to more than 20. Brokered deals to enter 15 key markets such as India, Brazil, and China. Envisioned and oversaw expansion of iTEP product offerings to include industry-specific tests. Hired new staff and managed all aspects of operations including marketing, budgeting, sales, and long-term goals.
