I’ve been in the architectural metal and glass business since 1984. I started off in a small Mom & Pop shop learning the ropes. Everything that came into the shop passed through my hands and excellerated my knowledge. Now I’ve had the opportunity to enclose mid and high-rise building facades. We are always learning. New materials and applications. Performance testing and evaluations. Over the years I have spent long periods of time with certain companies and others I have spent short times with but have been hired to handle specific projects. A hired gun you can say. This gives me a greater understanding of how different companies apply their specific knowledge. Definitely looking to end my career soon and to be able to add several more iconic projects to my resume. Be well everyone and stay safe. MR.
