As Director of Talent Management I oversee an amazing team who is responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management of stakeholders at a premier family-owned aerospace company. In addition I oversee our Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Technical Training and Efficiency and Effectiveness team. Within this role I have the opportunity to impact stakeholders on many levels, from hiring and cultivating a workforce to a relentless pursuit of excellence through learning and development. The framework of talent management at NORDAM encompasses an in house University, leadership academy, technical training group, sourcing, recruitment and a robust internship program. Partnering with field Human Resource Managers my team works to identify coaching needs at their root cause from which performance and coaching plans are developed. Driver of HR efforts on all scales to include but not limited to; employee relations, succession planning, investigations, workforce planning and audit readiness. Within this role I have also overseen and worked numerous special projects such as but not limited to; the startup of a facility in Taiwan and all HR aspects related to such facility, C-Suite recruitment, large scale implementations, community projects and a performance management rebrand.
