About Michael Robers
I am a neuroimmunologist and associate professor of neurology at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. I am the first year neuroscience block director and 3rd year clerkship director for Creighton University School of Medicine- Phoenix. My previous Education includes a BS in biochemistry from Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University, MD form Loyola University (Honors in Research), and MS in clinical, biomedical, and translational investigations from University of Southern California. My clinical training included an internal medicine preliminary internship at St. Joseph\'s Hospital and Medical Center (Phoenix, AZ), Neurology training at Barrow Neurological Institute (Phoenix, AZ), and a two year MS and Neuroimmunology Fellowship at University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) which was funded by a Sylvia Lawry Grant from the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.My research interests include evaluating the contributing factors to and interventions for healthcare disparities in MS and neuroimmunologic diseases. I also participate in the management of clinical trials. Personally, I enjoy volunteering, camping, hiking, scuba diving, traveling, and playing recreational sports.
