ABOUT MICHAEL RISCICA

I almost gave up on becoming an architect.When I started studying for the Architect Registration Exam, I thought it would only take six months. It took me four and a half years and four failures before I finally passed. I seriously considered walking away from architecture altogether.But after I passed my last exam, something clicked. I realized how broken the process was, how little support there was for candidates trying to navigate the most critical phase of an architect\'s education. So I started Young Architect as a blog, just trying to help the next person succeed where I had struggled.That was 2013. Since then, Young Architect has grown into the country\'s largest ARE prep company. We\'ve helped thousands of architects pass their exams through our ARE Boot Camps, comprehensive online courses, and the ARE Podcast.My mission is simple: help the next generation of architects be more successful. Whether you\'re studying for the ARE, working toward licensure, or trying to figure out this crazy profession, I want to make the path clearer than it was for me.I\'m a Registered Architect in Florida and Oregon. I regularly speak at industry conferences and lead in-person lectures, helping emerging architects build the knowledge and confidence they need to turn their struggles into success.
