About Michael Rieser
I invite New York paint retailers to provide a valuable service to their communities by joining with PaintCare to recover unused and leftover paint. In addition, PaintCare will pick up unwanted paint at no cost from almost anyone who has 100+ gallons of unwanted paint to dispose of, based on container size, not liquid volume.

Paint retailers may volunteer to be a drop-off site and accept paint from households and businesses in their community. There is no charge to become a paint collection site. All of the costs are covered by the eco-recovery fee that is charged on the sale of new paint starting May 1, 2022. Taking back unwanted paint builds community trust, brings potential customers into your store, and makes it likely that they will recommend your store with their neighbors. The paint collection process is simple. PaintCare provides a bin, store personnel put sealed partially used cans of paint into the bin, PaintCare collects the bin as often as necessary, and provides a fresh bin to continue collecting paint.
