As a contract consultant, I maintain the functionality and reliability of their IT network through management of network deployments as a member of the NOC deployment team. My role centers on administering day 2 and tier 2 support in multiple environments, including troubleshooting, configurations, installations, and deinstallations.I lead field technicians, coordinate with vendors, and collaborate across different areas to implement solutions, deliver services to customers, and resolve escalated issues. This includes generating HP Service Manager ticket documentation.§ Troubleshoot and/or configure CUCM, CUC, and Cisco routers/switches, VoIP deployments, voice and data network issues, T1 connectivity issues, and voicemail deployments.§ Execute VIPTELA configurations and troubleshoot/configure Cisco and Aruba routers and switches.§ Coordinate the transfer, installation, deinstallation, and change of networks and phones in agency and field locations.§ Leverage support software links to update DNS and configure, accept, and remove devices on the enterprise network.§ Diagnose, isolate, and repair network issues, recover network nodes that fail the acceptance process, and identify/fix physical cabling and complex wiring issues.§ Train my colleagues on all Network role responsibilities.
