Responsible for the daily curation of music playlists for both Indie88 on-air broadcast and online B stream multi-genre playlists+ Create, develop and execute speciality programming initiatives for both on-air broadcast and digital platforms + Collaborate with digital department in development of both timely and topical music / lifestyle-based editorial content + Build, maintain and expand relationships / partnerships within the music industry (record labels, artist management, live event promoters & venues) to increase brand awareness and reach; focus on festivals and live event promotions+ Manage and allocate the station’s Canadian Content Development (CCD) fund+ Collaborate with sales, digital and promotions departments to develop client campaigns that align with the station’s brand+ Oversee and curate multi format playlists for Indie 88’s streaming service “JAM”+ Manage and utilize online music testing and research analytics and data to inform programming decisions+ Collaborate with management team in the develop of station / personality focused marketing and advertising to increase listener engagement with the Indie 88 brand+ Responsible for coaching and development of on-air staff + Ensure station complies with CRTC regulations+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain detailed timelines and project plans, lead brainstorming sessions and programming status meetings+ Oversee all aspects of programming, promotion, social media, creative and production to ensure consistent brand programming and messaging+ Work closely with station’s General Manager to encourage an inclusive and collaborative team environment
