Oversee/manage 5+ Civil Inspectors, ACI Concrete Technicians, and soils testers (Two Accrow steel bridges [115’ and 127’ spans]), Adit tunnel, 1.2 miles of new 24” City of Yreka waterline, and multiple other pre-drawdown activities) Develop and implement Quality Control practices and proceduresEnsure all work is in conformance with the contractual requirements Verify all submitted material incorporated into the project conforms to the project specifications and design drawing requirementsPerformed civil (reinforcement) inspections at various stages of construction to verify quality requirements (ACI/CRSI), per design drawing requirements and site specifications.Understand and execute the required testing procedures in conformance with the contract documents and industry standards Understand and execute the required testing procedures in conformance with the contract documents and industry standards Daily correspondence with the clients, contractor, sub-contractors, and other outside Federal/State entities, ensuring accuracy, quality, and professionalism of work. Monitor, document and track all Quality Control documents including but not limited to Submittals, RFI’s, Non-conformance Reports, Quality Control Daily Reports, Third-Party Testing Reports, and Inspection Reports (individual inspector)Review all special inspection and material testing documentation performed by third partiesAnticipate, recognize, and identify key project issues/problems and assist in establishing objectives and priorities in solving said issues and determine solutions and assist with directing their implementationAssist in project execution strategy and review design drawings and specifications during their development
