ABOUT MICHAEL QUINN

Fellow of the Institute of Civil Engineers, Framework Director, NEC PM and Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 25 years’ experience in the design, delivery and management of Civil and Geotechnical Engineering projects working for Design and Engineering with national and international experience covering a wide variety of private and public sector developments for major highways, rail, infrastructure, residential and transportation sectors. I have worked on major ECI and D&B Highways schemes building on broader earlier Rail and Geosciences experience including- Engineering consultancy design covering highways (for the last 20 years), major infrastructure, statutory processes, Public Inquiry, railways, earthworks, tailings dams, coastal defences, lining works, ground remediation, structures projects, construction, site supervision and Construction Quality Assurance in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East.I have had experience of various highways design, project programming, 3D visualisation, railways, civil and geotechnical related modelling software and preparation of tender and contract documents and with early involvement in ECI schemes have embraced collaborative working and lean processes to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget with the highest level of quality. My broad experience-base with diverse clients has provided me with a strong and varied skill set which is coupled with a rounded understanding of engineering design and management of teams and people. My experience outside of highways enables me to work closely with other sectors and helps focus the project to meet the client expectations.
