MECHANICAL DESIGNER – Design and develop medical devices for spine surgery. Create average to complex product layouts and 3D models via Pro-E 4.0 & Interlink PLM. Verified dimensional accuracy of drawings to ensure form, fit and function of surgical instruments made of titanium and stainless steel. Designed, analyzed and applied tolerances, fits, and clearances to designs and produced the least costly, highest quality products. Responsibilities included drafting and checking responsibilities. Reviewed the accuracy of drawings created by ProE, and Intralink PLM software for ASME Y14.5m-2009 GD & T compliance.
