ABOUT MICHAEL PRICE

Michael Price, LCSW, QS, MCAP, ICADC, MSW, MACC is currently in a Primary Therapist position and has been providing clinical and administrative services in Substance Abuse Services and Mental Health Agencies for over 15 years. Michael’s credentials are Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Qualified Supervisor for Social Workers, Master Certified Addiction Professional, and Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. Michael’s education earned are Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, Master of Accounting from Nova Southeastern University, Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Broward Community College, and Associate of Science in Legal Assisting from Broward Community College. Michael has worked as Primary Therapist, Clinical Director, and Operations Manager in a variety of milieus which have provided Substance Abuse Services, Mental Health Services, and Psychiatric Services for adults and adolescents. Michael is an expert at providing intervention, case management, diagnose, individual session, group session, treatment planning, clinical supervision, agency management, and agency licensing with DCF, JACHO, and CARF within all levels of care at Behavioral Health Psychiatric Inpatient Hospitalization, Detox Inpatient Hospitalization, Residential Inpatient Hospitalization Programs, Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Outpatient Programs. Michael has over 22 years in recovery and over 40 years experience with 12 Steps, Recovery Literature, and AA/NA. Michael’s methodology and philosophy in therapy are based upon the Holistic Approach along with specific methods of recovery or therapy such as CBT, DBT, Exposure Trauma Therapy, Gestalt Style Therapy, Adler Style Therapy, 12 Steps & Principles, Family Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, and various spiritual therapies.
