Manager of Windows & Doors, Finishing and Trimboard departments. Assisted in scheduling and planning improvements to allow past due reduction and increased OTD. Brought a 32% OTD increase based of forecasting to allow for not overloading the schedule in different windows and resulting inaccurate lead times. Current focus is product development to continue our growth in the American market with this system, lead time reduction to keep up with even the cheaper systems, and WIP stock adjustments to account for long lead times on most materials. Reduced overhead by 50% while still remaining on time with customer orders by better mix in scheduling, improved equipment, and cross training all team members to improve our efficiency in the department. In the past year projects have been a main focus from decreasing WIP stock to eliminate dead stock levels and prevent items of low turns taking up footprint and production time to something as small as moving a set of storage bins for shrouds to be more ergonomic. The focus next year is moving double our throughput while only adding 10% employees back in through projects and scheduling changes.
