About Michael Plunkett
I have significant experience in strategic and operational management, financial administration, capital finance, team and process development, and leadership. After spending the first part of my career as a business consultant at Arthur Andersen, I have gone on to a variety of leadership positions with both venture capital and private equity-backed companies. I was the co-founder, CFO, and senior operations executive at MachineryLink from inception through five rounds of venture capital investment and significant growth in 38 states. I was the COO of StrategicOne, a data warehousing, business intelligence, and marketing analytics firm. Most recently, prior to co-founding PayIt, I was the CFO of private-equity backed Safe Fleet/ROM, where I was integral in completing and integrating five acquisitions and the successful sale of the company to a large private equity firm.I understand how to build scalable business processes and teams and implement metrics to measure and drive a business. I have operated successfully as an executive in both start-up and $100M+ revenue companies. I possess a unique combination of leadership, strategic vision, tactical management, and detailed understanding of the deployment of technical solutions to clients.
