Serve as a Member of LLNL’s Senior Management Team (SMT) and co-chair the Principal Deputies Committee, the action organization for the SMT. • Fulfill DDST’s responsibilities to advance the Laboratory’s core scientific and engineering competencies and ensure leading-edge technical capabilities are available for the execution of the Laboratory’s national security missions. • Oversee a major revision to the Lab’s investment strategy for internal funding for science and technology, including how Laboratory Directed Research and Development supports LLNL’s Core Competencies and Mission Focus Areas.
