Configuration Manager POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for directing, coordinating and implementing the configuration management functions required to manufacture and support equipment. The Manager - Configuration Management will be responsible for the cross-functional coordination of all proposed engineering changes, for all product lines. This involves gathering and presenting the information required to make the decision to implement a potential design change, and coordination throughout the implementation of all changes once approved. This information includes all potential effects of the proposed change, such as materials which are presently in inventory or on order, compatibility with previous design versions, financial impacts, and potential applicability to units in the field. Implementation responsibility includes managing the status of all approved changes and ensuring that the changes are implemented in accordance with the intended schedule that is established at the time of change approval.
