ABOUT MICHAEL PAREDES
I\'m a globally minded and entrepreneurially inclined economist solving issues in capital markets using data driven approaches to inform strategy and policy. I have co-founded two companies, Foodle and OlaCoral, which have given me experience across company management, financing, and growth; and I refined these experiences while developing the direction at Citizenly as an early employee. I am a graduate of the Hult Prize Business Accelerator, and have applied my education on thesis-driven investments as a venture capital analyst investing in the healthcare sector. Academically, I did my undergraduate degree in Quantitative Economics (Econometrics) with an emphasis in Finance, gaining research and data analytics experience. I also majored in Political Science and the experience helps me convey complex information into actionable plans.
