The position has two main responsibilities; teaching and making recommendations for the hiring and scheduling of adjunct professors in the Criminal Justice Department. As a full time professor the course load consists of teaching five classes per semester. In my capacity as program coordinator, I also work closely with the department chairperson in determing what classes are offered and when they will be offered, advise students of possible internships and potential jobs in the criminal justice field.
